About the project
Perth Waldorf School’s new staff administration building is Architects&Co.’s latest project with Perth Waldorf School. The Administration building sits in the heart of the school, nestled between an existing administration block, and a library, and is on one of the busiest vehicle and pedestrian artilleries on Campus.
The administration building was completed in 2023, and utilises timber framed construction in a BAL40 bush fire zone. Its design is centred around modest passive design principles capturing advantageous sun angles throughout the seasons, sits within the site without the use of extensive ramps, and offers cost effective design ‘quirks’ in keeping with the school’s aesthetic and budget.
